CoMoveIT was founded in 2021 as a spin-off of the Belgian university KU Leuven with an impactful mission: to provide the highest possible independent mobility to people with severe motor disabilities.

To this end, CoMoveIT develops alternative control systems for powered wheelchairs. CoMoveIT Smart, is a head or head-foot control, with high-sensitive sensors and controlled by artificial intelligence. A smart algorithm fully automatically ensures continuous adaptation of the system to the user himself. This makes this innovative solution unique in the world.

People with complex movement disorders, especially with cerebral palsy or MS, thus achieve greater independence and quality of life. The CoMoveIT Smart system provides them with control over their power wheelchair even in cases of extreme spasticity, involuntary movements or low strength. More control means less tension, more mobility, more independence.
